Israel: Pilgrimage and Experience

Posted January 4, 2016 at 8:03 am

There was a sigh of relief when we landed Tel Aviv that Sunday November morning.Compared to the bustling airport of Istanbul, the quiet runways from exiting Turkish Airlines surrounding the center of Ben Gurion Airport gave us room to breathe after the 14-hour flight from Manila. Lydia Tours and our tour guide Yoram Attias received us […]

“Scandinavia, is not Scandinavia without the FJORDS.”

Posted July 28, 2015 at 8:22 am

Some of the travelers I met, don’t know that Scandinavia has one of the best sceneries in the world.  All they want to do is just to see the 4 Scandinavia countries and thats basically it.  But what makes Scandinavia so inviting is their FJORDS!  The most unbelievable, most spectacular, most picturesque Sceneries I have ever seen.  Its […]

Brazilian Expedition

Posted June 10, 2015 at 6:40 am

Since this is my first blog, the first travel I would like to feature is one of my favorite trips – Brazil. The thing that I like about Brazil is that you DON’T NEED A VISA (for Philippine passport holders)! Another thing is that you could cover a lot of famous sites in this trip like: 1. The famous Christ the Redeemer. 2. The voluptuous Copacabana beach and Ipanema beach, where the song “girl of Ipanema” was named after. 3. The amazing and breathtaking Iguassu Falls – I could seriously say that time stops when you’re in this place.

Greenland, the land of Ice

Here is another exciting and most recent trip of mine – Greenland. It’s really mind boggling why it was named Greenland, when in fact 85% of the land in Greenland is ice. According to their “Saga” during the 13th century, a Viking from Denmark discovered Greenland; but in order to attract migrants, he used the words “The GREEN LAND”. Well, that’s the story…

They say you can find the happiest people in Bhutan. I say, you can find the ‘awesomest’ people in Jamaica.
They say Italian is the most beautiful language. I say, Patios is the language of the Cool people.

Iceland, Purely Nature

Posted June 10, 2015 at 6:21 am

I just don’t get it why Iceland is not a top tourist destination country. Iceland has one of the most mixed natural elements I have ever seen — the Ocean, the beautiful Fjord lakes, the geysers, the wide expanses, lava fields, glaciers and the geothermal feilds. All these phenomena fit in one big island. If we are talking about a truly “unique travel:” GO to Iceland. Every district of this country has its own distinctiveness. No one will ever be disappointed to travel to Iceland.

Cuba “blast from the past”

If you lived in Cuba in the 1950’s and had a time travelling device to fast forward to today, you will never tell the difference because of its vintage beauty.
We started the trip by visiting the Old Havana, probably the most picturesque city in Latin America. You will fall in love with the city; its brick road peppered with vintage cars that lead up to huge wooden doors of stores that sell old books alongside Che Guevarra merchandises, gives you a feel of the 1950s that’s still present in the city.
