|Day: 1||Date: Nov 14 - Tue||Departure: Manila||Arrival: --||Activity: The tour begins aboard the flight bound for Northern Europe. Enjoy inflight meals, movies and a night of respite as the
jet whisks to the sky…
|Day: 2||Date: Nov 15 - Wed||Departure: --||Arrival: Oslo, Norway||Activity: Arrive in Oslo and have an overnight stay in Hotel.|
|Day: 3||Date: Nov 16 - Thu||Departure: Oslo||Arrival: Tromso, Norway||Activity: … and lands at Tromsø, Norway. Located 350 kilometers north of the Arctic
Circle, it’s the largest city of Northern Norway and a popular destination to
catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. After checking in at the hotel, depart
in the evening for a Tromsø Safari to visit Camp of the Sami, Scandinavia’s
only indigenous people. Learn about their history and culture while dining
under a traditional Sami teepee. If luck and opportunity permits, view
breathtaking auroras that adorn the horizon with spectacular hues.
|Day: 4||Date: Nov 17 - Fri||Departure: Tromso||Arrival: Narvik, Norway||Activity: After breakfast, checkout from the hotel. Go on a Tromsø city tour including Polaria, the world’s most northerly
aquarium. Watch a panoramic film followed by an “Arctic Walkway” exhibit and their main attraction: Bearded Seals.
Lunch is served en route to Narvik. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour including a cruise to Ofotfjord, site of the Naval
Battles of Narvik during World War II where many Allied and German shipwrecks, now declared war graves, rest to this
day. After checking in the hotel, go for more Northern Lights hunting in the evening
|Day: 5||Date: Nov 18 - Sat||Departure: Narvik||Arrival: Kiruna, Sweden||Activity: Breakfast at the hotel then check out. Depart Norway and enter Kiruna, Sweden. Due to its northern position at the
Arctic Circle, Kiruna frequently experiences both the Midnight Sun and Polar Night, and despite the city being on the
verge of collapsing into an enormous mine pit, its citizens remain unflustered, earning the moniker “The No Problem
People”. Embark on a city tour to see Kiruna. After dinner, we hunt the Aurora lights on Snowshoes.
|Day: 6||Date: Nov 19 - Sun||Departure: Kiruna||Arrival: Levi, Finland||Activity: Check out after breakfast at the hotel. Exit Sweden and enter
Finland via Levi, the largest Finnish fell and ski resort. Today
will be an all-day winter safari: Enjoy a Siberian Husky Dog
Sled Ride in the morning, a 1km Reindeer Sleigh Ride in the
afternoon and a scenic Aurora Borealis Snowmobile
excursion at night! Schedules may change subject to
availability. Lunch is served in a local restaurant while dinner
is served at the hotel.
|Day: 7||Date: Nov 20 - Mon||Departure: --||Arrival: Levi||Activity: After breakfast, join a guided tour of the Sami Museum and learn more about the Sami, aka Laplanders. Upon finishing
lunch, hop on snowmobiles for a drive around the wilderness and enjoy a tranquil time of Ice Fishing. After dinner, put
on snowshoes for a leisurely trek around the snow while hunting for auroras at night.
|Day: 8||Date: Nov 21 - Tue||Departure: Levi||Arrival: Rovaniemi, Finland||Activity: Breakfast at the hotel then check out. Drive to Rovaniemi, the official
hometown of Santa Claus for a true, magical Christmas experience! Visit
the Santa Claus Office to meet St. Nick himself, and send postcards with
a stamp found nowhere else! Shop for Christmas themed souvenirs at
Santa Claus Village or visit a playground themed after Finland’s
contemporary contribution to the world: Angry Birds! After lunch, enter
the Arktikum Museum and Science Center to learn about life in the
Arctic. Grab dinner at a local restaurant then cap off the evening and
check in to Glass domed Igloos!
|Day: 9||Date: Nov 22 - Wed||Departure: --||Arrival: Rovaniemi||Activity: After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Spend the entire morning at Ranua Wildlife Park, the northernmost zoo in the
world. Embark on a safari to see the Arctic’s top predators like Eurasian Lynxes, Brown Bears and Wolves. You can also
see Finland’s only Polar Bears in artificial snow! Tonight after dinner, go to a private venue for a once in a lifetime
experience: Aurora Borealis Ice Floating. Don a rescue floating suit and dip your body into the frozen lake, floating in
zero temperature water while staring at the glittering aurora painted sky while staying warm and dry!
|Day: 10||Date: Nov 23 - Thu||Departure: Rovaniemi||Arrival: Reykjavik, Iceland||Activity: Grab a boxed breakfast and head to the airport for the flight to Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, Land of Fire and Ice.
After checking in at the hotel, par take dinner at a local restaurant then proceed to more Northern Lights hunting in the
|Day: 11||Date: Nov 24 - Fri||Departure: --||Arrival: --||Activity: After breakfast at the hotel, spend the entire day at the spectacular
Langjökull Glacier (Long Glacier). Ride a monster truck to the top of the ice
cap for one of the most breathtaking incomparable views ever, especially on
a clear day. However, the best experience is under the surface: a journey
into the first and biggest man-made Ice Cave in the world, with its stunning
frozen caverns of intense blue ice. Lunch is served en route and dinner will
be back at the hotel.
|Day: 12||Date: Nov 25 - Sat||Departure: --||Arrival: --||Activity: Breakfast at the hotel. Take a full-day eco-adventure to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. It is named “Iceland in Miniature”
due to the many national sights and symbols located in the area, such as the Snaefellsjokull volcano, setting of Jules
Verne’s science fiction novel Journey to The Center of The Earth. Within this national park is the Vatnshellir Lava Cave
believed to have been created from an eruption 600-800 years ago. Recently opened to the public in 2011, the upper
section of the cave features unique lava statue formations while the lower section, accessed down a long narrow
staircase, is encased in darkness and silence. Return to the hotel for dinner.
|Day: 13||Date: Nov 26 - Sun||Departure: --||Arrival: --||Activity: Breakfast at the hotel. Today, tour Iceland’s popular tourist route: The Golden
Circle. Visit its most stunning sights like the Haukadalur Geothermal Area to see
the Geysir and Strokkur geysers that shoot a column of water 98 feet into the air
every 4-8 minutes! Afterwards proceed to the majestic Gullfoss (Golden Falls)
waterfall, located in the canyon of the river Hvítá, whose southbound waters
plunge into a crevice 105 feet below. Later, visit Thingvellir National Park, a rift valley marking the boundary between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. It is also a filming location of
HBO’s hit TV series Game of Thrones, where the epic duel of Brienne of Tarth and Sandor Clegane “The Hound” took
place. It also served as the location of the Vale of Arryn and The Eyrie, fortress and stronghold of House Arryn.
|Day: 14||Date: Nov 27 - Mon||Departure: --||Arrival: --||Activity: After breakfast, proceed to an all-day South Shore tour along Iceland’s
southern coast stretching as far as the village of Vik, known for its black basalt
sandy beach and western cliffs that are home to seabirds like Puffins. Later,
stop at the gorgeous Seljalandsfoss waterfall where visitors can walk behind it
into a small cave. Afterwards, visit the village of Skogar and enter the
Skógasafn, a folk museum showcasing Icelandic life in centuries past. Beside it
is Skógafosswaterfall, popular to photographers for its single or double
rainbows that appear in sunny days.
|Day: 15||Date: Nov 28 - Tue||Departure: --||Arrival: Reykjavik||Activity: Breakfast at the hotel. After all the excursions in the last few days, take a leisurely morning city tour of Reykjavik today.
After lunch, invigorate yourself in the ever popular Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa. Entrance includes a Silica Mud Mask,
Algae Mask, use of towel and a 1st drink of your choice. Tonight, go to the Viking Village for dinner where the staff are
all dressed in Viking costumes. Be adventurous! Test your bravery and try Iceland’s national dish: Hakarl (Fermented
|Day: 16||Date: Nov 29 - Wed||Departure: Reykjavik||Arrival: Helsinki, Finland||Activity: Grab a boxed breakfast before heading to the airport for the flight to Helsinki.|
|Day: 17||Date: Nov 30 - Thu||Departure: Helsinki||Arrival: --||Activity: Breakfast and Lunch at the hotel, take a final glimpse of Helsinki before heading to the airport and embarking the
homeward flight back to Manila, Philippines.
